We live in a beautiful world
I am still reeling from that show - the absolute best thing about youtube is that you can relive everything without even having a camera of your own.
Also - this was Arcade Fire's last song before the encore - and after they left the stage the audience kept singing the ooo ooo until they came back on.
Sigh. Good thing I am seeing Spoon and my man Britt on Sunday. Otherwise this week would be looking mighty bleak.

oh shannon, thank you so much for your inspiring and vivid accounts. you make me feel like i was there, which i wish i was. i saw lots of shows at the greek and love that venue. my favorite was elvis costello when people wqere high in the trees behind the back fence freaking ot over him.
over the past 3 1/2 years, i've allowed motherhood overtake my identity and don't often get out to live shows + no bands come to wellington due to lack of venue and th fact that you can't fly directly into wellington (nz's capital city). ???. (they may go to auckland instead) if they even come waaaaaay out here.i am out of touch and live vicariously thru you. i love and miss you and love arcade fire...thanks again.
