		<description>Hi Shannon!You are the best!

I had hard time keeping my mouth shut as I was laughing so much. But I'm in a studylibrary and have to behave ;)

I want to tell you that I was able to get a copy of Chow Venice from swedish onlinebookstore! As my friend was coming to visit us from Sweden she ordered it and brought it over. If I would have ordered it from amazon or similar, it would have taken looooooong time to get it. But I was in the local store to ask for it- maybe they send in a order to you:)

		<description>Shannon,
The couple who were getting married in Venice got lucky with you as a tour guide! Sounds like you are having a great trip.

<description>Two people have recommended Chow Venice on the Fodor talk board. I think you are catching on, Shannon!

I love your story about the tipsy, arguing couple. I don't know what it is about Venice, but it seems to be a make-it or break-it town. I, too, have seen tipsy couples arguing late at night, while waiting for the last traghetti or backtracking through dark streets---lost, tired, with nobody in charge.

The last time I stayed in Venice with a husband, after a sun-drenched boat ride out to the Lido and back (wherein he refused to wear a hat), he threw up on the sidewalk during lunch at a restaurant on the Giudecca Canal. After he lay on the ground for awhile, with hundreds of people walking by, gawking, he took to his bed at the Pensione Accademia for the rest of our stay. I vowed to never again go to Venice with anyone; it spoils the magic.

<description>Wow! Shannon you are much nicer than I am and deserve those roses and more! I have drawn maps, taken people half way there, and given directions in languages i didn't know I spoke, but I don't think I have or would ever go that far out of my way to help two lost travelers. Brava!
